In Memoriam
It is with deep sadness that we announce the profound loss of our Club Founder and dear friend, Kieran Flynn.
Kieran died peacefully at home, surrounded by his devoted family, on 18th August 2024.
His funeral Mass was held on Friday 23rd August in St. Patrick’s Church, Monkstown, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
The family asked for donations, in lieu of flowers to the Fuchsia Appeal (Support For Homeless Irish Veterans) using this link https://one-veterans.org/donate/
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h'anam dílis.

About the IMVG
The Irish Military Vehicles Group is a group of people interested in Military Vehicles and how they were used in service. Our interests extend to Military Shows and re-enactments and we travel around the country supporting these activities.
The highlight of our year is the IMVG Military Show at Naas Racecourse. This year's show took place on Saturday and Sunday 22-23 June 2024.
The show attracts displays from all around the country, and we have live battle re-enactments, living history displays and a host of authentically-restored military vehicles. It's a brilliant day out for all the family.
See our Facebook page for the latest news, photos and updates.
How to join the IMVG
We currently have over 40 members who own over 30 vehicles and are based in Leinster, about 30 minutes drive from Dublin. We are always interested in meeting people who share our interests. You do not have to own a vehicle to join our group.
If you are interested in military history and the part vehicles have played in the great events of the last 100 years, please contact us at jkelly102 (at) hotmail.com.
You are most welcome to come along to visit our workshop where you can see the vehicles, meet our members and get a feel for how we operate. You can also meet us at any of the shows and events listed in our programme for the year.
If you would like to find out more, please get in touch. Watch our YouTube video, below, or visit our Facebook Page for the latest news on shows, exhibitions and events. We'd love to hear from you!
